Confirmation of Price

​

For both buying and selling  transactions to Fitzgerald Metals, all sales prices on placed orders are locked in and confirmed at the time that the order is placed unless alternative arrangements are agreed. After an order is placed, the order cannot be cancelled once a confirmation number is issued. Payments must be received within 24 hours of placing an order. For payments by wire transfer, payments must be received  within two (2) business days.  For payment methods by business check, bank or cashier’s check, payments must be received within five (5) business days of placing an order.

When selling to us, all sales prices on placed orders are locked in and confirmed at the time that the order is placed unless alternative arrangements are agreed. After an order is placed, the order cannot be cancelled once a confirmation number is issued. All seller items of confirmed sales must be shipped to Fitzgerald Metals mailing address within two (2) business days of sale confirmation, unless other terms have been agreed. If the items are not received, the time to send the items are extended to within seven (7) business days, If Fitzgerald Metals does not receive the items after seven (7) business days, Fitzgerald Metals reserve the right to purchase the items at the current market value of items. If the seller does not agree with the new sales price the seller can decline the entire sale. All purchases or sales with Fitzgerald Metals constitute a legally binding agreement.

 

 

Market Loss Policy

For both buying and selling  transactions to Fitzgerald Metals, all sales prices on placed orders are locked in and confirmed at the time that the order is place, and your order After an order is placed, it cannot be cancelled once a confirmation number is issued.. The price locking process confirms therms of the transaction as well as the prices agreed upon by both parties, and it cannot be cancelled once confirmed. If the seller defaults on the transaction, Fitzgerald Metals reserve the right to recover any losses incurred due to any changes in spot prices and premiums of products including the $39.50 cancellation fee.

All fluctuation in spot price of the products from the time frame of order confirmation and cancellation is the seller's liability. The seller is responsible for compensating the cost of any losses within this time frame.

It is highly important for the seller to understand and agree that any market gain on order cancellations shall remain the property of Fitzgerald Metals. These market gains cannot be used to compensate the $39.50 cancellation fee.

 

Payment Options

Buying from Fitzgerald Metals:

Fitzgerald Metals only accepts payment methods of Bank Wire Transfers, Business Checks, Bank Checks, and Cashier’s checks.

 

Selling to Fitzgerald Metals:

Fitzgerald Metals pays sellers by Bank Wire Transfers or Check.  Overnight checks are also available.  We recommend seller to notify us payment preferences once an order is confirmed to request a wire or an overnight check.  Deadline for same day bank wire transfer or overnight checks is 12:00 pm EST to allow time to process.

 

Sales Tax

Tennessee State does not require us to collect sales tax for resale orders.

 

Cancellation of Orders

​

For both buying and selling  transactions to Fitzgerald Metals, all sales prices on placed orders are locked in and confirmed at the time that the order is placed unless alternative arrangements are agreed. After an order is placed, the order cannot be cancelled once a confirmation number is issued.  All transactions of our products are final. If a dealer is not able  to complete the transaction, all orders are subject to our market loss policy including an additional $39.50 cancellation fee.  Any market gain on orders due to order cancellations remains the property of Fitzgerald Metals. Fitzgerald Metals reserve the right to cancel any orders for any reason if the confirmed price of an order is incorrect. In addition, we may cancel your order at any time if we do not receive your payments in the time frame outlined above.

 

Return Policy

​

Eligible orders may be returned for exchange.  Bullion may not be returned.  Unless it is specified during the confirmation of your order. Numismatics may not be returned or exchanged.  Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) privileges must be requested within 48 hours of receipt. After this period has expired, if you would like to sell your items back to Fitzgerald Metals we will buy it back at our prevailing buy price rates.  Returns must be received at our facility within seven (7) business days after issuing an RMA confirmation. Fitzgerald Metals cannot process returned products that are received without an RMA. Please contact us to request an RMA. Please allow 24-72 for all RMA requests to  be processed.

 

Shipping Details

​

 All orders are shipped once the full payment has been processed. Customers' orders are shipped in one or multiple boxes and on the same or multiple days. Your order may come from various supplier warehouses. Fitzgerald Metals suppliers determine your order size, value, and weight, and variety. Our supply chain is designed to deliver your product safely at the lowest possible cost. Fitzgerald Metals will keep customers updated with shipping information throughout the process.

Fitzgerald Metals suppliers cover all shipments under their shipping insurance policy. If there are any problems with the shipment of your products, we will do as much as possible to ensure you receive the products you ordered. However, Fitzgerald Metals are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged packages due to:

1) Customer instructions with any carriers or delivery service that results in parcels left unattended,

2) The customer waiving the required signature, and/or

3) Any customer instructions to any delivery personnel to leave your package with any person other than the customer listed on the shipping address. This includes:

  • Doormen

  • Neighbors

  • Building manager

  • Drop-off location

  • Signature by an employee at a rented mailbox

If you suspect that your package has been lost or stolen, it is extremely important to contact Fitzgerald Metals immediately.

​

If your package has not been delivered, Fitzgerald Metals must need from the appropriate carrier a written confirmation declaring the package as lost and/or stolen before refund or reship the purchased product. Once we receive this confirmation, we will in our sole discretion, either replace the original product or refund the full purchase price.
