Methods of Shipping

 

In order to provide our customers with competitive prices, we determine the fastest and most cost-effective method for delivery after your order is submitted.

 

Most orders are shipped via FedEx Ground, USPS Priority Mail, or FedEx Overnight. FedEx and UPS cannot deliver to post office boxes.

Shipment Tracking & Delivery

Fitzgerald Metals provides shipping tracking number to all customer packages once your order has shipped. Please allow 2-7 business days for delivery. If your order has not been received, please call our toll free phone number to check your order status. Some products take longer to ship than others. When shipping multiple boxes, shorter shipping orders may be held until longer shipping orders are ready to ship. Orders may be shipped in more than one package. All packages may not ship the same day.

 

Discreet Packaging

 

All shipments are packages are discreetly anonymous and will never reference our company name, our suppliers company name, or anything referring to the items or their value.

Shipping Insurance

 

All shipments are covered by our suppliers shipment insurance policy. In the unlikely event your package is lost or damaged, Fitzgerald Metals will refund your money or have our suppliers re-ship your items at our discretion.

If your item is lost in the mail or arrives in damaged condition, you must contact us immediately. For damaged packages, we must be notified within three business days after delivery.

 

Please note: Fitzgerald Metals are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged packages due to:

1) Customer instructions with any carriers or delivery service that results in parcels left unattended,

2) The customer waiving the required signature of package(s), and/or

3) Any customer instructions to any delivery personnel to leave your package with any person other than the customer listed on the shipping address. This includes:

• Doormen

• Neighbors

• Building manager

• Drop-off location

• Signature by an employee at a rented mailbox

Our product suppliers are responsible to file a claim with their insurance company to deem the package lost or damaged during transit.

A signature is required on all packages over $250.

International Shipping

Fitzgerald Metals are able to ship to various international locations.  Customer pays FedEx shipping rates and insurance.  

 

Our suppliers' international shipments insurance cost:

 

$0.69 per $100 in value.
